Strong SolarFlares as Elenin Approaches Earth !
This week’s sharp increase in solar activity has turned the sun into a radio transmitter. Bursts of shortwave static are coming from the unstable magnetic canopy of sunspot 1283. Tuesday in New Mexico, amateur radio astronomer Thomas Ashcraft recorded some samples at 21 MHz: listen. Radio listeners should remain alert for this kind of solar activity as sunspot 1283 continues to seethe.

Another Strong X-Flare from the Sun
Earth-orbiting satellites have detected another strong flare from sunspot 1283. The X1.8-class event at 2238 UT on Sept. 7th produced a bright flash of extreme UV radiation and hurled an inky-dark plume of plasma into space. Click to view the movie from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory !
This is the third significant flare from sunspot 1283 since Sept. 6th. All three eruptions propelled CMEs in the general direction of Earth. Not one of the CMEs, however, will hit our planet squarely. Glancing blows from the three clouds will commence sometime on Sept. 9th and continue through Sept. 11th, possibly sparking minor geomagnetic storms.
X-flares of Solar Cycle 24
There have been only a handful of X-flares since the beginning of new Solar Cycle 24. Here is a complete list so far, all in 2011: Feb. 15 (X2), March 9 (X1), Aug. 9 (X7), Sept. 6 (X2), Sept. 7 (X2). Before these five, the previous X-flare occured on Dec.14, 2006, (X1) during old Solar Cycle 23.
Elenin sending strong signals !
For several days there has been analyzing radio signals picked up by the USC California Radio Telescope. The signal comes from the transit area of “Elenin” and coincides with the observation G pulse, which also are being analyzed by independent experts. The pulses are equally amazing. In various forums, experts are analyzing the signals…
Also new image-composite (made from THREE “40-second HI-1 camera frames”) reveals several additional, startling details about Elenin’s now strikingly “tetrahedral shield” (which we discovered only last week) — that is apparently protecting “Elenin the spacecraft” (deep inside this shield) from excess solar radiation

The earthquakes are getting more frequent, and the electro magnetic field stronger, this surely indicates Elenin is not broken. The signal in my flat is very weak right now, and constantly varies. My son aged 10, wakes almost every night about 4 am,( something he has never done) for the past few weeks, he has no reason, hes not upset or had a dream, I think its due to planetary and earth change, affecting his body clock.
Geez! I hate to be prolific poster, but ANOTHER outage has hit So. CA!
This incident is completely different and a separate incident from the one I posted an hour ago. What is really interesting about this second outage is that this one is from Edison Co. Not San Diego Power & Electric, who was involved with the massive outage a couple of days ago. And just like the others Edison doesn’t know what caused it.

I find this interesting (and scary). Just 2 days after the massive power outage that affected over 2 million people from Southern CA, AZ, and northern Mexico there is ANOTHER unexplained outage in my part of the world tonight!
San Diego Power & Electric states this new outage has no connection to the previous incident. They don’t know what’s causing it, but the streets are snarled with traffic due to so many repair vehicles tonight.

Are they sure it was from “Human Failure”?
A massive blackout caused by “human failure” left nearly 5 million people without power in parts of California, Arizona and Mexico on Thursday, and officials said many residents may be out of service for a day or more.

I read this article to my husband this morning over coffee. I warned him to expect some Internet or cell phone disruptions through the weekend. With his usual response whenever I start discussing the coming events, he smirked and let out a “Yeah right”. Well, this afternoon we experienced a massive outage. It’s been reported San Diego Electric and Power had their complete system shut down with 4 million households going dark for hours.
As we were packing our week’s worth of groceries into an ice chest I asked my husband if he believed me now. His response this time………”Oh shut up and hand me more ice”. LOL! (he was joking, of course).
There is no dearth of interesting and stimulating information on this website…so thanks, alamongordo.
there are a few things one cannot help but think about:
1. is Elenin still intact and on its way? (the internet is awash with news that Elenin has disintegrated)
2. is it possible that speed and proximity to the Sun has blown away the coma of Elenin? (thereby making it faint and elongated)
3. if indeed Elenin has disintegrated into small “chunks”, then shouldn’t the Sun’s gravity trap them? (since any heavenly body achieves a stable orbital equilibrium based on speed, distance, and relative body mass. Surely the fragmented pieces are of smaller mass and closer, thereby not being able to sustain their orbital path)
If Elenin has broken up, i see no reason how a bunch of debris can be a cause of a maelstrom on Earth…not so?
though i must say, “we shall soon have all the answers”
