Dean Koontz wrote The Eyes Of Darkness in 1981, describing the ‘Wuhan-400’ virus. Fans of author Dean Koontz are insisting that a novel he wrote in 1981 predicted the coronavirus outbreak.

Koontz’s thriller The Eyes Of Darkness describes a killer virus named ‘Wuhan-400‘ after the Chinese city it originated in — the same city where COVID-19 was first reported.

Says one character in the novel: ‘They call the stuff ‘Wuhan-400’ because it was developed at their RDNA labs outside the city of Wuhan.’

‘A Dean Koontz novel written in 1981 predicted the outbreak of the coronavirus!’ wrote Twitter user Nick Hinton, who first posted a screenshot of the passage from the novel earlier this month. Koontz did not immediately respond to an inquiry from DailyMail.com about the purported prediction in his novel.

Wuhan Virology Lab

Although coronavirus was first identified in Wuhan, there is not yet scientific consensus about how and where it jumped to humans. Initial theories suggested that it jumped to humans from exotic animals in a Wuhan ‘wet market.’ Others have suggested, so far without proof, that the pathogen may have escaped from the Wuhan Virology Lab, China’s only biosafety-level four facility.

Other than the city of origin, however, there is little similarity between the fictional Wuhan-400 and the real coronavirus. In The Eyes Of Darkness, Wuhan-400 is a bioweapon virus that has a fatality rate of 100 percent within 12 hours.

The characters explain that the Chinese intended to use it ‘to wipe out a city or a country’ without the need for ‘expensive decontamination’. ‘Wuhan-400 is a perfect weapon. It afflicts only human beings. No other living creature can carry it. And like syphilis, Wuhan-400 can’t survive outside a living human body for longer than a minute, which means it can’t permanently contaminate objects or entire places the way anthrax and other virulent microorganisms can,’ one character says.

2020 CORONAVIRUS PREDICTION

Despite the surface similarity, there are big differences between Koontz’s fictional virus and the real coronavirus:

  • Symptoms: Infects and eats away brain tissue like acid
  • Mortality rate: 100%
  • Real Coronavirus / COVID-19

  • Symptoms: Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath
  • Mortality rate: Estimated 3% – 5%

Coronavirus however has an estimated mortality rate of just 3 to 5 percent. It can survive on surfaces for much longer than a minute, possibly hours or days, though scientists are working now to determine such properties with more precision.

In the Koontz novel, the Wuhan-400 attacks the brain.

As one character describes it: ‘The virus migrates to the brain stem, and there it begins secreting a toxin that literally eats away brain tissue like battery acid dissolving cheesecloth. It destroys the part of the brain that controls all of the body’s automatic functions.’

Coronavirus, on the other hand, primarily affects the respiratory system, in severe cases resulting in pneumonia. The primary symptoms are fever, coughing, and shortness of breath.

The book also describes a virus that has an incubation period of just four hours, whereas coronavirus incubates for several days to two weeks.
Finally, to the disappointment of conspiracy theorists, it turns out that in the first edition of The Eyes Of Darkness, the virus was originally called ‘Gorki-400’, after the Russian city where Koontz originally wrote the bioweapons lab. After the Soviet Union fell in 1991, Koontz apparently changed later editions to make China the villain.

Before she died, Baba Vanga — dubbed the “Nostradamus from the Balkans” — left predictions up to the 51st century, when she believed the world would end.

For 2018, she foresaw two world-changing events.

They were that China will become the world’s next “superpower,” taking over from the US, and “a new form of energy” will be discovered on Venus.
So could these predictions actually come true?

China’s economy has been steadily expanding over the last few years. In 1970, the country made up just 4.1 percent of the total world’s economy, but this rose to 15.6 percent in 2015 and it is continuing to rise. It has not yet overtaken the US, but could soon do so.
In 2015, the US contributed 16.7 percent of the world’s economy, but this is expected to fall to 14.9 percent in 2025, according to Forbes.
When it comes to Venus, there are no current plans to send a space mission there.

However, the Parker Solar Probe, named after solar astrophysicist Eugene Parker, is scheduled to launch in July 2018 and will investigate the outer corona of the sun. While it won’t land on Venus, it will use the planet’s gravitational force to pass around the sun.
The craft’s mission is to determine the structure of the magnetic fields at the sources of solar wind, trace the flow of energy that heats the plasma surrounding the sun and explore dusty plasma and its influence on solar wind and energetic particle formation.
Baba Vanga is said to have predicted 9/11 by claiming “two steel birds” would attack the “American brethren.”

She reportedly said: “Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush and innocent blood will be gushing.” She was also said to have foreseen Brexit when she said Europe as we know it will “cease to exist” by the end of 2016, and she warned of the rise of an extremist Muslim army that would invade Europe, thought to refer to the rise of ISIS.
However, last year it was claimed she said that Barack Obama would be the “last American president,” which falsely led some to believe Donald Trump would never be sworn in.

Other future events Baba warned the world about include :

  • the end of world hunger by 2028, Mars’ colonies gaining nuclear weapons by 2256 and Earth becoming unhabitable from 2341.
  • Global hunger will start to be eradicated between 2025 and 2028.
  • From 2033 to 2045, the polar ice caps will melt, causing ocean levels to rise.
  • Muslims will rule Europe and the world economy will grow.
  • The rise of cloning will mean doctors can cure any disease.
  • The US will launch an attack on Muslim Rome using a climate-based “instant freezing” weapon.
  • Between 2072 and 2086, a classless, Communist society will thrive hand in hand with newly restored nature.
  • Between 2170 and 2256, a Mars colony will become a nuclear power and demand independence from the Earth.
  • Back on Earth, an underwater city will be built and something “terrible” will be discovered during the search for alien life.
  • Sometime between 2262 and 2304, we’ll crack time travel.
  • From 2341, a series of natural and man-made disasters will make Earth uninhabitable. But humans will escape to another solar system and wars will be waged.
  • From 4302 to 4674, humans are immortal and have assimilated with aliens.
  • The 340 billion people scattered throughout the universe can talk to God.
  • In 5079, the universe will end.

Judah Ben Samuel was a legendary and prolific German rabbi of the 12th century who made some astonishing and specific predictions about the future of Jerusalem and Israel that came true. Judah Ben Samuel, also known as Judah he-Hasid (Judah the Pious), lived and worked from the end of the 12th century until the beginning of the 13th century in Regensburg, authoring a number of books in the German language.

Ludwig Schneider of  Israel Today magazine has translated some of his work into English over the last few years, including “The Book of the Pious – Sefer Hasidim” and the “Book of Calculations – Sefer Gematriyot.” Following the Christian crusades to the Holy Land, between 1096-1270, a regular correspondence developed between the Jews in the Holy Land and the Christian West. Thus, for example, the rabbis in Worms and Regensburg in Germany knew that Saladin’s Ayyubids had been ruling in the Holy Land since 1187.

At this time, Judah Ben Samuel published the results of his biblical calculations (Gematria) and astrological observations and summarized as follows: “When the Ottomans (Turks) – who were already a power to be reckoned with on the Bosporus in the time of Judah Ben Samuel – conquer Jerusalem they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees. Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man’s land for one jubilee, and then in the ninth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”

One jubilee is 50 years (Leviticus 25). It is the 50th year after seven times seven years, the year in which each person should regain ownership of his or her land. Ben Samuel’s calculations were purely theoretical; there was absolutely no sign at that time of their being fulfilled. He himself was not able to experience their fulfillment, for it was only 300 years after his death that the first of his predictions were to come true.

The Mamluks, who had been reigning in Jerusalem since 1250, were conquered in 1517 by the Ottoman Turks. They remained for eight jubilees (8 x 50 = 400 years), that is to say they were in Jerusalem for 400 years. Exactly 400 years later, in 1917, the Ottoman Turks were conquered by the British. The League of Nations conferred the Mandate for the Holy Land and Jerusalem to the British. Thus, from 1917, under international law, Jerusalem was no-man’s land.

Then, when Israel captured Jerusalem in the Six Day War of 1967, exactly one jubilee (50 years) after 1917, Jerusalem reverted to Jewish-Israeli ownership once again. Thereby, according to the prophecies of Judah Ben Samuel, the Messianic End Times began.

Many scholars have studied and made reference to Judah Ben Samuel’s writings in an effort to understand how he reached his conclusions. Among those referencing Ben Samuel were Rabbi Isaac Ben Solomon Luria, a mystic dealing with the messianic world (Jerusalem, 1531-1572, Safed); Joseph Solomon Delmegido (1591 Candia – 1655 Prague), a mathematician and astronomer (“Mazref le-Chochma”), Azulai I (1724-1806), a famed bibliographer; Samuel David Luzzatto (1800-1865), a Bible scholar; historian Heinrich Graetz (1817-1891); and Torah scholar Jacob Epstein (1925-1993).

The secret of how Judah the Pious arrived at such accurate predictions has less to do with the actual calculations than it does with the fact that he had consecrated his life to God. His pupils Rabbi Isaac ben Moses (Vienna), Rabbi Baruch ben Samuel (Mainz) and Rabbi Simcha (Speyer) testify that Ben Samuel was a model of abstinence and selflessness and was awaiting with a burning desire the coming of the Messiah.

Ben Samuel was often called “Light of Israel.” Even bishops came to him for advice. If anyone asked him where his wisdom came from he would answer, “The prophet Elijah, who will precede the Messiah, appeared to me and revealed many things to me and emphasized that the precondition for answered prayer is that it is fueled by enthusiasm and joy for the greatness and holiness of God.”

But to recap the astonishing predictions: In AD 1217 this scholarly and pious rabbi prophesied that the Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of Jerusalem for eight Jubilees. Now, keep in mind, he made this prediction 300 years before the Ottoman Turks seized control of Jerusalem in 1517. If indeed 1217 and 1517 were jubilee years as Judah Ben Samuel believed, then his prophecy was exactly right, because exactly 400 years after the Turks took control of Jerusalem they were driven out of the city and the holy land in 1917 by the Allied forces under the command of General George Allenby – on Hanukkah, by the way.

But it gets more interesting still.

The rabbi also prophesied that during the ninth Jubilee Jerusalem would be a “no-man’s land.” This is exactly what happened from 1917 to 1967, due to the fact that the Holy Land was placed under British Mandate in 1917 by the League of Nations and literally “belonged” to no nation.

Even after Israel’s war of independence in 1948-49, Jerusalem was still divided by a strip of land running right through the heart of the city, with Jordan controlling the eastern part of the city and Israel controlling the western part of the city. That strip of land was considered and even called “no-man’s land” by both the Israelis and the Jordanians.

It was not until the Six Day War in 1967 when the entire West Bank of the Holy Land was conquered by the Israeli army that the whole city of Jerusalem passed back into the possession of Israel. So once again the prophecy made by the rabbi 750 years previously was fulfilled to the letter.

Israel and the near future !

It certainly would be significant if both 1917 and 1967 were Jubilee years, considering the significance of what happened in Jerusalem on those years. But it gets even more interesting, because Judah Ben Samuel also prophesied that during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic “end times” would begin. If he’s right, the 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and will be concluded in 2017.

For years I (Joseph Tittel) have been having feelings and visions of a quake that will occur in mid state of California that would be felt from hundreds of miles away. What will happen Next after the Japan Tsunami ?

After Edgar Cayce predicted the “great shaking of South America” (Chile Earthquake), Cayce predicted there would be activity in the vulcanos on Island (Happened last year), New Land will appear (Check out this article) and he prophesied “Japan would disappear into the Sea”, he also predicted following things to come :

Pope Benedict dies: Are We Reaching the End of Time?

In 1595, a Benedictine monk named Arnold de Wyon published  Lignum Vitae – in which he claimed to have “discovered The Prophecy of the Popes,” which were originally written by St. Malachy, the Archbishop of Armagh in 1143. In 1871, Abbé Cucherat, in his book The Prophecies of the Succession of the Popes , tells us that in 1139 Malachy was “summoned to Rome Pope Innocent II to receive two wool palliums for the metropolitan sees of Armagh and Cashel.”

While in Rome, Malachy is said to have experienced a “vision of future popes,” which he recorded as a sequence of cryptic phrases describing their personality traits. St. Malachy allegedly gave his manuscript to Innocent II and the document remained unknown in the Roman Archives until its discovery in 1590.

Examining the Papal Prophecy

The first pope listed after St. Peter was Ex caſtro Tiberis, who is noted as having lived in a “castle on the Tiber.” Regarding the final Pope, de Wyon claimed that Malachy wrote an apocalyptic statement which translates from Latin as:

“In the extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit. [sic] Peter the Roman, who will nourish the sheep in many tribulations; when they are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The end.”

When the text was discovered in 1595 it caused great intrigue and carried an air of legitimacy because so many of Malachy’s descriptions matched those of previous Popes. To many, the resignation of Benedict XVI in 2013 or the day he died 31/12/2022 indicated the beginning of the End of Days – also as prophesied.

However, not a shred of tangible evidence exists to associate Malachy with the prophecy, and the “original document” that de Wyon claimed to have “found” in the Vatican Secret Archives has never been seen by anyone else, ever. Soon after its discovery, many Catholic scholars deemed it as a contemporary forgery, however many others have continued to believe in the document’s authenticity.

Skeptics argue that historically when people had prophetic visions they told a lot of people, but Malachy apparently didn’t mention his vision to a soul, nor did his biographer, St. Bernard of Clairvaux; who documented several of Malachy’s other alleged miracles. And, depending on how you interpret the prophecy, Benedict XVI is not the 111th pope! Ten antipopes are listed among the “112 Popes” – so it is argued that Benedict XVI was the 101st pope.

The Papal Prophecy – Real or Forgery?

Among the historians who maintained that the prophecies were a late 16th‑century forgery, Spanish monk and scholar Benito Jerónimo Feijóo y Montenegro wrote Teatro Crítico Universal  between 1724–1739. In an entry entitled ‘Purported prophecies’ he observed a “high level of accuracy in the descriptions of the popes until the date they were published” … then, a “high level of inaccuracy after the publication date.” Friar Benito Jerónimo Feijóo y Montenegro was a Spanish monk and scholar who led the Age of Enlightenment in Spain and debunked myths and superstitions. This observation convinced him the prophecy was “created just before its publication.”

Having established that the prophecy was most probably a hoax, why were the prophecies created in the first place? A theory was forward by a 17th-century French priest Louis Moréri in his encyclopedia Le Grand Dictionnaire historique which suggested “supporters of Cardinal Girolamo Simoncelli created them in a bid to support his bid to become pope in the 1590s.” His evidence was in that the prophecies predicted the pope that would follow Urban VII was “Ex antiquitate Urbis” (“from the old city”), and Simoncelli was from Orvieto, which in Latin is Urbevetanum “old city” (Miller, 1981).

Writing extensively about the prophecy being a forgery, M. J. O’Brien, a Catholic priest who authored an 1880 monograph on the prophecies said: “These prophecies have served no purpose. They are absolutely meaningless. The Latin is bad. It is impossible to attribute such absurd triflings … to any holy source. Those who have written in defence of the prophecy have brought forward scarcely an argument in their favour. Their attempts at explaining the prophecies after 1590 are, I say with all respect, the sorriest trifling” (O’Brien, 1880).

What Does the Popes Prophecy Say of Today and Tomorrow?

If the list of descriptions is matched directly to a list of historic popes since its publication, Benedict XVI (2005–13) corresponds to the second last noted pope, described as “Gloria olivae” (the glory of the olive). 

And the final prophecy predicts the Apocalypse: “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman [as bishop], who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations (COVID-19, War in Ukraine, coming war between Israel and Iran) and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.”

The future of 2023 is gloomy according to Nostradamus

The future of 2023 is gloomy, according to a French astrologer whose prophecies from over 500 years ago have proven disturbingly accurate. Michel de Nostradame, better known by his pen name Nostradamus, published his now-famous book Les Prophéties in 1555. The book contains 942 prophecies that seem to anticipate some horrifying occurrences.

The assertions of the 16th century physician are justifiably viewed with scepticism by some, yet there have been times when his forecasts came disturbingly near to reality, with striking parallels to events like the Great Fire of London, Hitler’s reign of terror, and September 11. It is widely believed that Nostradamus foretold both the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the French Revolution.

However, the Mirror says that there are some of Nostradamus’s prophecies that might come true in 2023. Nostradamus predicts that 2022 will be a miserable year due to the impending cost-of-living problem and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, but 2023 will be no better.

Great war

In 2023, “a major conflict” is one of the most prominent forecasts. The present crisis between Ukraine and Russia, which might grow to World War III next year, may be the inspiration for this prophecy. At first glance, a seven-month timescale for the war could sound like good news, but considering the frightening nuclear arsenals of nations like the United States and Russia, it’s probably better to take the prognosis with a grain of salt. The prophecy also states that the French city of Rouen will be secure in the case of WW3, implying that Paris might be in danger.

Fire from heavens

The astrologer Nostradamus predicts a “Celestial fire on the Royal building” in another of his writings. This prediction, however, is even more ominous than the burning of the royal palace. Doomsday, sometimes known as the “end of times,” is consistently associated with a conflagration in the Bible. The new global order that rises from the ruins of the old is said to spell the end of history as we know it.

Landing on Mars

Nostradamus made cryptic allusions to the “light on mars descending” in his book of prophecies. In this case, the planet’s apparent backward motion in the sky may be attributed to its entering retrograde motion. As an alternative, it might be a metaphor for humankind’s attempts to colonise the Earth. Elon Musk, creator of SpaceX and just acquired Twitter, has long predicted that humanity would set foot on Mars by 2029. One of the world’s wealthiest men has spoken publicly about his desire to settle Mars before the decade’s end.

Economic crisis

Worldwide economic turmoil has ensued in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.  Predictions of desperation and unrest as a result of rising prices for necessities are implied by this analysis of past crises. Nostradamus predicts that by the year 2023, British consumers would be hit by a cost of living crisis brought on by rising energy costs, inflation, and food prices.

Climate change

Global warming is not a new issue, but Nostradamus predicts that temperatures will continue to rise and sea levels will rise in 2023. Is 2023 the year when the world’s temperatures finally hit a critical level, as shown by rising sea levels and the emergence of food chain complications.

Civil unrest

Civil unrest is likely to increase in 2023 as a result of the rising cost of living and global warming. In response to the deteriorating economy, this forecast indicates that the populace may rise up in rebellion against the affluent. A second quatrain suggests that the rich may have to brace themselves for acts of violence and strife.

Some historians and archaeologists believe Damascus may be the oldest continually inhabited city in the world and there is no record in ancient history of it ever being fully destroyed. End times, Doomsday, Eschaton, Disambiguation.

The end time. Also called end times, end of time, end of days, last days, final days, doomsday, or eschaton is a future described variously in the eschatologies of several world religions (both Abrahamic and non-Abrahamic), which teach that world events will reach a climax.

The Abrahamic religions maintain a linear cosmology, with end-time scenarios containing themes of transformation and redemption. In Judaism, the term “end of days” makes reference to the Messianic Age and includes an in-gathering of the exiled Jewish diaspora, the coming of the Messiah, the resurrection of the righteous, and the world to come.

Some sects of Christianity depict the end time as a period of tribulation that precedes the second coming of Christ, who will face the Antichrist along with his power structure and usher in the Kingdom of God.

In Islam, the Day of Judgement is preceded by the appearance of the al-Masih al-Dajjal, and followed by the descending of Isa (Jesus). Isa will triumph over the false messiah, or the Antichrist, which will lead to a sequence of events that will end with the sun rising from the west and the beginning of the Qiyamah (Judgment day).

Non-Abrahamic religions tend to have more cyclical world-views, with end-time eschatologies characterized by decay, redemption, and rebirth. In Hinduism, the end time occurs when Kalki, the final incarnation of Vishnu, descends atop a white horse and brings an end to the current Kali Yuga.

In Buddhism, the Buddha predicted that his teachings would be forgotten after 5,000 years, followed by turmoil. A bodhisattva named Maitreya will appear and rediscover the teaching of dharma. The ultimate destruction of the world will then come through seven suns.

Since the development of the concept of deep time in the 18th century and the calculation of the estimated age of the Earth, scientific discourse about end times has considered the ultimate fate of the universe. Theories have included the Big Rip, Big Crunch, Big Bounce, and Big Freeze (heat death).

The Book of Revelation may hold vital clues about the coronavirus epidemic if outrageous claims made by Christian hardliners are to be believed.

The Book of Revelation is the final book of the Bible in which John the Apostle outlined his visions of the end times. The scripture reveals many terrible events that will supposedly precede the Second Coming of Christ, including plagues, earthquakes and locust swarms.

And experts in the US predict a major earthquake could cripple North America in just 50 years. Conspiracy theorists have also bizarrely drawn links between the ongoing coronavirus epidemic and passages in the Book of Revelation.

One person said on Twitter said: “In line at the pharmacy yesterday, the guy in front of me informed the pharmacist that the Bible predicted Coronavirus and all you need to do to protect yourself is read it, ‘cause it’s better than any history book. “Ok dude please also wash your hands tho.”

Another Twitter user said: “I do believe the Coronavirus is worse than we are being told. “I also believe that if there is a way to stop it that Trump will find it and we will be ok. “I also believe this falls in line with the prophecies in the Bible too.”

Another person also tweeted: “The biblical apocalypse”. “1/3 of the world will die of pestilence, starvation and diseases“. Is Corona virus one of the diseases prophecied by the Bible? “If it is, then it proves the existence of this biblical God.” Although the coronavirus is not mentioned by name in the Bible, the Book of Revelation speaks of terrifying plagues descending on Earth in the end times. Revelation 15-16 John the Apostle speaks of “seven angels with seven plagues”.

The scripture reads: “Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues. “They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden sashes around their chests. “Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.

“And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.” Since the coronavirus emerged in December last year, it has infected more than 86,000 people and killed nearly 3,000.

Despite these figures, the World Health Organization (WHO) does not yet consider the COVID-19 threat to be pandemic, so it is unlikely to be on par with a biblical plague.

The coronavirus also has a very low mortality rate of no more than two to three percent. The WHO said: “If you are not in an area where COVID-19 is spreading, or if you have not travelled from one of those areas or have not been in close contact with someone who has and is feeling unwell, your chances of getting it are currently low.

“However, it’s understandable that you may feel stressed and anxious about the situation. “It’s a good idea to get the facts to help you accurately determine your risks so that you can take reasonable precautions.”

Nostradamus CoronaVirus | COVID-19 Predictions

Did the prophet Nostradamus warned us about the COVID-19 plague ?

Nostradamus believers are claiming that the prophet predicted the coronavirus / COVID-19. They point to one of his writings, Century 2:53, which warns: “The great plague of the maritime city. Will not cease until there be avenged the death. Of the just blood, condemned for a price without crime.” Although landlocked Wuhan is not a “maritime city,” the disease was traced to a seafood market, which they believe is enough to prove a link.

The majority of Nostradamus’ quatrains were penned in his 1555 Magnum Opus Les Propheties. Nostradamus has predicted that the third anti Christ has already arrived. In one of his quatrains, the 16th-century prophet warned of a plague striking a number of cities in Italy.

Century 3:75 reads: “Pau, Verona, Vicenza, Saragossa, “From distant swords lands wet with blood: “Very great plague will come with the great shell, “Relief near, and the remedies very far.”

In another quatrain, Nostradamus mentioned a “great plague” and the Italian city of Lucca. Century 3:19 reads: “In Lucca it will come to rain blood and milk, “Shortly before a change of praetor: “Great plague and war, famine and drought will be made visible, “Far away where their prince and rector will die.”

Plague is also mentioned in relation to France, where more than thousends of people have fallen ill with COVID-19 / CoronaVirus. Nostradamus wrote in Quatrain 3:56 — “Montauban, Nimes, Avignon and Beziers, “Plague, thunder and hail in the wake of Mars: “Of Paris bridge, Lyons wall, Montpellier, “After six hundreds and seven score three pairs.”

In another prophetic prediction, a pastor and conspiracy theorist says the texts of Revelation 8 prove Earth will end in a fiery death when an asteroid strikes the planet at the end of the decade. Thomas Thorn says one of the signs of the plagues of Exodus is “scorching and setting ablaze fields and forests”, which he has linked to the spate of wildfires. These will be followed, he says, by a “great star from heaven, burning like a torch” falling on Earth.
